First time The Gambia. So some questions: vaccinations, safety, what to do/see, and…how many days?
How many days to visit The Gambia? What we think, and some opinions from our customers.
7 DAYS: great short trip. From the cold to the sun, from work to relaxing. The opinion of many customers: a little too short, should haven choosen 10 days. Certainly when you want not only relaxing but also to discover a little The Gambia. A trip upcountry is 3, 4 days, so not many days left for relaxing, for the coastal area.
10 DAYS: perfect for relaxing and discovering The Gambia. You can start with 3 days in and round the hotel, exploring the coastal region. Next: upcountry trip from 3 or 4 days, to see South and North Bank . Followed by again some days in and round the hotel, with maybe some daytrips.
15 DAYS: perfect for birding, with a long trip upcountry to see the many birds. Or a long combination of relaxing and sightseeing. Time for dome daytrips in the coastal region, for a trip upcountry, and for relaxing. Great to know Tge Gambua, many are coming back, and back, and back
