During your trip upcountry you will drive most of the time on the 2 main roads of The Gambia: the south bank drive and the north bank drive, as the names are saying on both sides of the river Gambia , and going from west to east. Sideroads are bringing you to well known lodges as Bintang Bolong lodge and Tendaba camp, and cities as Farafenni and Georgetown. But now and then you will take a dirt road and stop very soon. Why that road? Why stopping right there? Because regularly the guides go on the road together, checking hotspots and trying to find new ones.
