The swallow-tailed bee-eaters: friends of your camera

From the 8 bee-eaters in The Gambia , the swallow-tailed bee-eaters are the only ones with a forked tail. And they really like to be photographed

The swallow-tailed bee-eaters are easy to identify, because of their tail and because of their blue and yellow throat. And they are often sitting in the open on a branch, waiting to try to catch an insect. They are not shy, so you slowly can get pretty close, a perfect place to watch their show. Because after catching an insect they often land again on the same branch. So you know where they will fly and land, perfect for action-pictures!!!! Good luck.
